Chopper Crash At Florida Airport Leaves Four Hospitalized

A Saturday morning helicopter crash in Pembroke Pines sent four people to the hospital, though officials report everyone on board managed to walk away from the wreckage.

The Pembroke Pines Fire Department responded to the downed aircraft on the grounds of North Perry Airport, located on the eastern edge of the city near the Broward College-South Campus. Emergency crews found that the helicopter had been carrying a pilot and three passengers at the time of the incident.

By the time paramedics reached the scene, all four people had already gotten themselves out of the aircraft and were walking around. They did sustain injuries in the wreck and were transported to Memorial Regional Hospital for further medical care. The fire department confirmed that none of the injuries appear to be life-threatening, and all four patients are currently listed as stable…
