Tamarac seniors facing financial hardship will have an opportunity to apply for assistance through the District 3 Senior Relief Program on Friday, Aug. 21.
Held in recognition of National Senior Citizens Day, the one-day program will provide eligible households with up to $250 in financial assistance while funding remains available. Tamarac District 3 Commissioner Krystal Patterson is hosting the event at the Kings Point Clubhouse, 7620 N. Nob Hill Road, from 1:45 to 5:30 p.m.
Applications will be accepted in person on a first-come, first-served basis. City officials warn that the application site could close before 5:30 p.m. if available program capacity is reached. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval or funding…
