ST. LUCIE COUNTY – A total of seven adults and three juveniles, along with confiscation of three firearms, have been made as of June 1 in Operation Summer Heat, a collaborative effort with St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office; Fort Pierce Police; FBI; and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
The program is a crime suppression initiative focused on reducing violent crime; targeting gang activity; removing illegal firearms; and combating narcotics activity throughout the community.
