PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (WFLA) — A distressed driver called 911 after her car ran out of gas and she found herself stranded along a stretch of road in Port. St. Lucie.
Video captured by the Port St. Lucie Police Department shows officers coming to the rescue as they accompanied the woman to a nearby gas station, bought her a water bottle, and then helped fill her car up with gas.
Not only that, officers then followed the young woman as she got back on the road to ensure she made it home safely…
