VERO BEACH — Stars and Service recently brought veterans, their families and community members together at Riverside Theatre for a patriotic celebration honoring military service while connecting attendees with local organizations and resources.
Hosted by Riverside Theatre and the Veterans Council of Indian River County, the July 2 and 3 Stars and Service event featured patriotic entertainment, veteran comedians, live music and opportunities to learn about services available to veterans and their families.
Despite the heat and humidity, attendees browsed displays from 18 vendors offering services tailored to veterans and their families. Organizations included Dogs for Life, the Marine Corps League of IRC, the Veterans Council of Indian River County and more…
