Stuart Man Arrested After Police Pursuit Ends in Martin County

STUART, Fla. – A 31-year-old man was arrested Tuesday night after leading law enforcement officers on a vehicle pursuit that began in Stuart and ended in neighboring Martin County, authorities said.

The incident began on the evening of July 28, 2026, when a Stuart police officer attempted to stop a vehicle for an equipment violation after discovering the registered owner’s driver’s license had been revoked.

Instead of pulling over, the driver fled, prompting a brief pursuit through the City of Stuart.
