Fort Pierce police identify suspect in deadly shooting after Fourth of July

FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — The Fort Pierce Police Department has identified the man accused of shooting and killing another man the day after the Fourth of July.

FPPD said Friday that investigators identified Cornelius Trevon Ivory as the suspect accused of shooting and killing a 28-year-old man on South 14th Street.

Police said investigators obtained a warrant charging Ivory in connection with the shooting. Ivory was served with the warrant while in custody at the St. Lucie County Jail, where he is being held on unrelated charges…
