MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — A 3-year-old child was hospitalized Sunday afternoon after being found unresponsive in a pool at a home in Stuart, according to Martin County Fire Rescue.
MCFR said crews responded to reports of a child drowning just before 2:30 p.m. at a home in the 4500 block of Southeast Federal Highway.
According to fire rescue officials, the babysitter found the child they were watching unresponsive in the pool. A bystander performed CPR for about a minute, and the child regained consciousness before paramedics arrived…
