A Former Hedge Fund Exec Is Selling His Oceanfront Mansion in Florida for $22 Million

Former hedge fund exec Jay Newman is making headlines again. The financier-turned-American novelist, known for leading one of the most significant hedge fund trades in Wall Street history while working at Elliott Management, has put his Florida estate on the market.

According to The New York Post , Newman shelled out a cool $8 million for the spread back in April 2021. Fast forward to today, and Newman and his wife, Elissa Kramer, are hoping to sell the renovated abode for a hefty profit.

Listed for just shy of $22 million, the oceanfront mansion is in Windsor , a private and storied New Urbanist community with a golf course, polo field, and tennis center. If its asking price is met, the palatial pad will be among the most expensive homes ever sold in Vero Beach.

An oceanfront estate in Vero Beach’s exclusive Windsor community is up for sale.

“The best thing about the house is that it’s right on the beach,” Newman told The Post . “If you have dogs, you have miles of beach that is pretty much unused. It’s amazing.” The mansion was built over two decades ago, in 2003, and is positioned on over an acre of land with a glorious 130 feet of ocean frontage. Altogether, the property includes a 13,596-square-foot, five-bedroom main residence, a two-bedroom carriage house for guests, and a swimming pool.
