This Portland Mediterranean home sparked a bidding war. Here’s how much it fetched over asking price

A 1936 Mediterranean Revival house with expansive outdoor spaces near the base of Southeast Portland’s Mount Tabor sold for $265,000 over its asking price May 15.

The final price for the 0.2-acre corner lot on Southeast Salmon Street was $1,560,000, which was 20.5% more than the listing price of $1,295,000.
