Oregon stars storm Broadway, taking home Tony Awards for actress and director in a musical

Shoshana Bean and two others with Oregon ties took home honors at the Tony Awards Sunday night.

Bean, a Beaverton High School graduate, won best featured actress in a musical for her performance in “The Lost Boys,” an adaptation of the 1987 comedy-horror film.

Based on the Lost Boys characters in “Peter Pan,” the story follows a pair of teenage vampires who never grow up. In the Broadway adaptation, Bean plays the boys’ mother, Lucy. The award marks Bean’s first Tony win after earlier nominations in 2022 and 2024…
