PORTLAND, Ore. — One of Portland’s most visible vacant buildings is getting a fresh coat of paint — and new owners with plans to turn it into housing for homeless veterans.
On Thursday, crews began repainting the old Gordon’s Fireplace building in Northeast Portland, which sits along Interstate 84.
