PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — An Instagram “psychic” who preyed on emotionally vulnerable people across the country, including in Washington, has been arrested.
Bridgette Doreen Evans, 47, who used the fake name “Jolene Travis,” and her partner Vinnie John Uwanawich, 44, made their first appearance in front of a federal judge on Wednesday on charges of conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud, four counts of wire fraud and four counts of mail fraud.
