U.S. attorney: Hoover Gang member sentenced to federal prison for possessing guns as a felon

GRESHAM, Ore. (KPTV) – A Gresham man who is a known member of a local gang was sentenced to federal prison for illegally possessing guns as a felon, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office – District of Oregon.

Shakor Shovontae Ray Holiday, 32, pleaded guilty to one count of felon in possession of a firearm. He was sentenced to 100 months in federal prison and three years of supervised released.

The attorney’s office, citing court documents, said Holiday, who is a senior member of the Hoover Gang who goes by “Dute Fly,” posted a video of himself holding an AR rifle on social media on May 31, 2023. He posted another video with the same gun a few days later.
