Judge dismisses case against city of Lake Oswego by Street of Dreams developer

A lawsuit filed against the city of Lake Oswego by the owner of the Oswego Reserve development in the Forest Highlands neighborhood was dismissed by a Clackamas County judge on Tuesday, May 26.

The original lawsuit alleged that the city created wetlands on the land the business purchased to build nine new homes along Goodall Road in the Forest Highlands neighborhood. Goodall 16, LLC requested a jury trial and $8 million in damages.

The Oswego Reserve property was supposed to be part of the 2024 Street of Dreams, an annual event hosted by the Home Building Association of Greater Portland, but its participation was delayed to 2025 because the site couldn’t be finished in time…
