GRESHAM Ore. (KPTV) – Friday is Juneteenth, a national holiday that commemorates the day enslaved people in Texas finally learned they were free, marking the end of slavery in the United States. There were events throughout Oregon to celebrate, including the eighth annual Juneteenth Celebration in Gresham.
