32-year-old arrested after stabbing leaves victim seriously hurt in Northwest Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — Portland police arrested a 32-year-old man Wednesday after another man was stabbed in the abdomen in Northwest Portland, authorities said.

Officers responded at 10:05 a.m. Wednesday, June 24 to a report of a stabbing at Northwest 6th Avenue and Northwest Everett Street. When officers arrived, they found an adult male victim with a stab wound to the abdomen.

Emergency medical services responded, and paramedics treated the victim while transporting him to the hospital. Police said the victim’s injuries are serious but not believed to be life-threatening…
