Set down your mimosa: Portland just lost another brunch spot.
After five years in downtown Portland’s former Little Bird Bistro space, Grits N’ Gravy has served its last breakfast. The Southern-style brunch joint opened in December 2021, the morning mealtime venture of Mumbo Gumbo food cart owner Brandon Stevens.
“Unfortunately this is the end for us,” Grits N’ Gravy announced on social media Wednesday afternoon. “Times have gotten hard and business has been declining since last August. We held on for as long as we could but we can’t keep going.”…
