A Portland man is accused of weaving his Mercedes through traffic at over 100 mph, crashing into two cars and then running away with thousands of dollars in cash on Friday — while wearing a court-ordered ankle monitor that tracked his every move.
Antonio Chris Hall, 23, was booked on a third-degree assault charge and multiple charges of failing to perform the duties of a driver, reckless endangerment and reckless driving. He remains in custody, according to the Multnomah County Jail roster.
Hall was driving on Interstate 84, just east of Portland near Northeast 201st Avenue, when he started accelerating his Mercedes to 80 miles per hour on the 55-mph highway, court records allege.
