PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — A stabbing was reported near the 1300 block of Southwest 11th Avenue in Portland just before 2 p.m. Sunday, prompting a large police response and the closure of part of the area with crime tape.
The call was listed on the Bureau of Emergency Communications website. Portland police cruisers and officers were seen surrounding the scene, but the Portland Police Bureau had not confirmed details about what happened.
KATU crews on the scene took photos showing crime tape around the area, a shopping cart on its side within the taped-off perimeter, and a significant police presence.
