Lyle Hill Fire continues to burn, Level 3 ‘Go Now’ evacuations remain in place

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The Lyle Hill Fire continued to burn overnight, with windy conditions expected on Monday, officials said.

As crews continue work to set up fire lines, Lyle Fire & Rescue District 4 said that a Washington State Incident Management Team has taken over operations on Monday, bringing in help from around the state to strengthen the lines.

On Monday morning, the Washington Department of Natural Resources told KOIN 6 News that the fire was burning 442.9 acres.
