Portland to raise parking meter rates again. How much will you pay?

Portland officials are set this week to roll out another round of parking meter and fee hikes, one year after imposing a series of historic increases.

Three of the city’s five parking meter districts will see rates rise by 20 cents per hour, according to changes adopted last month by the Portland City Council.

Beginning Wednesday, hourly street parking will be $3.20 in downtown, $2.80 in Northwest Portland and $2.20 in the Central Eastside. Meanwhile, parking in the Lloyd District or Marquam Hill will remain unchanged at $1.80 per hour and $2.60 per hour, respectively…
