Portland-area shelter provider under investigation amid allegations of financial misconduct

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A homeless services provider responsible for operating six shelters across Portland is now under criminal investigation.

The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Tuesday that an investigation is underway to determine whether any criminal conduct occurred at Sunstone Way and who may be involved.

“We are actively working with law enforcement on this investigation,” said Multnomah County District Attorney Nathan Vasquez.
