Federal prosecutors: PDX Airport worker stole guns from passengers checked luggage

PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — A man with a previous drug conviction is suspected of stealing at least one gun from checked luggage at Portland International Airport, federal prosecutors allege.

According to court documents, the investigation began in June when Port of Portland police received a series of reports from passengers who said guns they were transporting in checked luggage were missing when their luggage arrived at their destinations.
