BATTLE GROUND, Wash. (KATU) — A wrong-way driver caused a deadly head-on crash early Saturday on state Route 503 in Clark County, leaving three people dead and one person injured, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The crash happened at 2 a.m. July 5 on SR 503 just north of 179th Street. Troopers said a 2011 Dodge Challenger was traveling the wrong way, northbound in the southbound lanes, when it struck a 2025 Toyota 4Runner head-on. The Dodge came to rest on its top, fully blocking the southbound lanes.
