PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A man was arrested Tuesday on Interstate 205 after speeding over 130 miles per hour and attempting to elude law enforcement, Portland police announced.
The driver, identified as 41-year-old Chris A. Hughes of Portland, was booked into Multnomah County Detention Center on several charges.
The incident started around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, when an officer spotted Hughes speeding southbound on the Glenn Jackson Bridge.

The officer tried to stop Hughes, however Hughes allegedly sped away at 134 miles per hour, according to police.
