Travelers should plan ahead for two major overnight freeway closures in the Portland area starting this weekend.
Northbound Interstate 205 will be closed overnight on Friday, July 10, at the Abernethy Bridge, and both directions of Interstate 5 will be closed overnight on Saturday July 11 through the Rose Quarter.
Next week, regular bridge inspections will close I-5 in one direction each night Monday through Thursday nights…
