2 Woodland men die in 4th of July UTV crash

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Two Woodland residents in their 50s died in a utility terrain vehicle crash on the 4th of July, authorities said.

Scott Russell, 59, and Walter Holmes, 57, both died after a rollover accident on Russell’s property. Both men sustained blunt-trauma head injuries, the Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office said.

On July 4, at 8:15 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a side-by-side utility terrain vehicle crash in the 9000 block of Northeast Spurrel Road in Clark County, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office told KOIN 6 News.
