MCSO: Man killed after being hit by train in Cascade Locks

CASCADE LOCKS, Ore. (KATU) — A man was struck and killed by a Union Pacific train early Tuesday morning, the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to KATU.

MCSO spokesperson Brent Weisberg said the incident happened just before 3 a.m. at the intersection of Northeast Enquist Place and Northeast Tumalt Road in Cascade Locks.

Deputies are securing the scene until Union Pacific Police arrive to conduct an investigation…
