VANCOUVER, Wash. (KPTV) – A 74-year-old man died after being hit by a pickup truck driver on Tuesday night, according to the Vancouver Police Department.
At about 7:45 p.m., officers responded to South Andresen Road and MacArthur Boulevard for reports of a crash involving a pedestrian.
Police said a driver in a pickup truck had stopped at the stop sign on westbound MacArthur and was proceeding through the intersection when he hit a man in a wheelchair who had entered the crosswalk.
The victim was taken to a hospital where he later died. His name has not yet been released…
