LAKE OSWEGO, Ore. – The Greenbrier Companies, Inc. has built 50 gondola cars as part of a pioneering circular economy collaboration with steelmaker SSAB Americas and recycling company Alter Trading Corp.
The effort demonstrates how lower-emissions steel, innovative railcar design, and closed-loop recycling can work together to reduce environmental impact while supporting industrial supply chains, Greenbrier said today.
