PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A man is accused of breaking into at least 20 food carts using a blowtorch, according to the Portland Police Bureau (PPB).
Theodore Cody Jackson, 29, was arrested and charged with burglary, criminal mischief, aggravated theft and possession of burglary tools.
Jackson is suspected of involvement in more than 20 burglaries targeting food carts across Portland and Milwaukie, police said.

Police said that they began getting reports of someone breaking into the carts using a blowtorch to force his way inside. Investigators said that the suspected thief caused tens of thousands of dollars in damages to the businesses.
