PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Portland man is being held on $200,000 bail for allegedly setting fire to his ex-girlfriend’s home.
Christopher James Hansen, 44, was arrested in Vancouver on Sept. 16 and charged with first-degree arson and residential burglary.

The charges stem from a house fire that occurred on Sept. 6 in Vancouver’s Parkway East neighborhood. According to charging documents obtained by KOIN 6 News, a neighbor reportedly witnessed a man believed to be Hansen park nearby and carry a small red container from his car. A short time later, her children told her the neighbor’s house was on fire.
The neighbor’s security system also reportedly captured footage of the car arriving at 7 p.m. and leaving at 7:30 p.m. Flames can be seen in the footage at 7:34 p.m.
The woman who lived at the house told police she had met Hansen when she started working at OnTrac, where he also worked. She said they became close and began dating, which lasted for six months…
