7 arrested in Washington County retail theft mission

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Detectives arrested seven people who stole from Fred Meyer and Target, recovering hundreds of dollars worth of stolen merchandise in an organized retail theft operation near Beaverton on Thursday, officials said.

Officials from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office partnered with detectives, patrol deputies, and asset protection staff to identify Fred Meyer and Target theft suspects.

In a collaborative mission, detectives arrested seven people for theft, outstanding warrants, as well as criminal mischief involving property damage.

Detectives also remarked they were able to recover hundreds of dollars’ worth of store merchandise from the arrested individuals…
