BEAVERTON Ore. (KPTV) – A teenager is facing charges related to reckless driving and running from police after an SUV crashed into two Beaverton townhouses early Thursday morning, according to police.
At about 2 a.m., an officer with the Beaverton Police Department said they saw a Toyota Sequoia driving recklessly along Southwest Tualatin Valley Highway where it made an illegal U-turn, hit a concrete median, lost control, and then drove away.
The officer tried to stop the Toyota near Southwest TV Highway and Southwest 178th Avenue, but the driver sped away and ultimately crashed into a row of townhouses near Southwest Johnson Street. People were inside the houses at the time, but were not hurt.
The two teens then ran away on foot…
