SALEM, OR — Oregon child welfare officials are asking for the public’s help to find a 15-year-old who went missing from Oregon City on Sept. 28 and is believed to be in danger.
The Oregon Department of Human Services Child Welfare Division said Amani Turner is missing and is suspected to be in the North Portland area. The agency urged anyone who believes they see Amani to call 911 or contact local law enforcement.
ODHS noted that when a child is missing, they may be in significant danger, and the agency may need to locate them to assess and support their safety. ODHS said media alerts may be issued in some circumstances, and that some children may go missing repeatedly, resulting in more than one media alert for the same child…
