PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A woman was taken to the hospital after being rescued by firefighters from a 2-alarm house fire in Vancouver on Saturday morning, authorities said.
At around 11:38 a.m., the Vancouver Fire Department said they responded to reports of smoke and fire coming from 7609 NE Vancouver Mall Dr.
When crews arrived, they found an apartment on fire. Firefighters worked to extinguish the fire and entered the building, located a woman and safely rescued her.
