Residents of the Hillsboro community are invited to attend a community informational open house on Thursday, November 12th, to learn about the proposed new Block 56 project. This mixed-use project will feature Portland Community College and Virginia Medical Center and will change the landscape of historic downtown and the northern half of the block between SE 5th Avenue, Washington Street, and SE 6th Avenue. City and organization representatives will be available to answer questions. The Herald strongly encourages all community members to attend, get informed, and ask any questions they may have! This is how you can engage and have a stake in the future!
From the Notice Received:
Your input is needed! A community meeting is being held regarding the new Virginia Garcia project at Block 56. This session is designed to update the neighborhood on project progress and, most importantly, provide a forum for you to ask questions and share your thoughts.
