A 29-year-old Sherwood man has been sentenced to a little more than seven years in prison for sexually abusing a 9-year-old Independence child in 2024.
Malcolm Dean Cade was sentenced Thursday, April 2, in Dallas by Polk County Circuit Judge Pro Tem Timothy R. Park after pleading no contest to two counts of first-degree sex abuse, according to the Polk County District Attorney’s Office.
