MULTNOMAH COUNTY, Ore. (KPTV) – Eight people were arrested Tuesday as part of an investigation into suspected drug trafficking in the Parkrose neighborhood, according to the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office said the investigation began when a deputy saw drug trafficking activity while conducting patrols near the Parkrose Transit Station and along a TriMet bus route.
On Tuesday, a search warrant was served at a home near Northeast 96th Avenue and Northeast Mason Street. The sheriff’s office said investigators seized drugs, cash, and stolen property, including an e-bike valued at over $5,000. The e-bike was returned to its owner.
In total, eight people were arrested and criminal charges will be determined by the district attorney’s office. The names of those arrested were not released by the sheriff’s office…
