Man injured in stabbing near Northeast Portland transit center; police search for suspect

PORTLAND, Oregon — A man was injured in a reported stabbing near a Northeast Portland transit center Wednesday night, and police are searching for a suspect, according to the Portland Police Bureau.

Officers responded to reports of a heavy police presence near the Northeast 82nd Avenue MAX station, identified as the Gateway Transit Center area, around 9:30 p.m., according to Portland police logs.
