‘Warrant arrests’ follow stolen truck & car recovery in Reed neighborhood

A large callout of law enforcement officers – in this case officers from the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office Transit Police division – swarmed the intersection of S.E. 30th Avenue and Schiller Street on Monday, March 9th, at 5:21 p.m.

The Transit Police officers were examining a Dodge Nitro SUV with no license plates in a parking lot adjacent to an apartment complex. Officers were also inspecting the contents of a stripped-down pickup truck with Washington plates, its rear bed missing, stopped nearby on S.E. Schiller Street.

Near each of the two vehicles there were piles of personal belongings, which appeared to be mostly clothing items…
