PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – A converted home in North Portland will welcome teens in foster care to help them prepare for independent living.
New Narrative’s Rosebud Program is a supportive living program for foster youth ages 16-18. The program is the first of its kind in Oregon.
“This is a really big deal for our organization. This is the first time that we’ll be serving minors, anybody under the age of 18,” said Megan Soucy, youth services director at New Narrative. “And so it’s a really new endeavor for us to be able to bring our mission to a new group of people.”…
