PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A teen was arrested in early April after putting a Vancouver police officer in a headlock and attempting to take their gun, officials said.
On April 4, Vancouver police said they responded to a parking lot in the area of 1400 Washington Street after a caller reported a teen punching and kicking a car. The caller also said they were afraid the teen was going to assault someone nearby.

When officers arrived, they found the teen screaming at a man and woman, who police said they later learned were the teen’s mother and stepfather.
