Portland voters are less worried about these issues than they were 2 years ago, poll finds

Portland residents’ concerns over crime and drug use have dropped significantly in the past two years, according to a recent poll commissioned by The Oregonian/OregonLive.

The DHM Research poll, conducted from April 23-30, surveyed a representative sample of 600 registered voters in the Portland area.

Only 9% of city of Portland respondents named drug addiction as the most important issue facing the city, compared with 22% two years ago…
