Man arrested in Clackamas was having mental health crisis, family says

A man Clackamas Sheriff deputies pushed to the ground, punched in the head and arrested Sunday was suffering from a mental health crisis, his family says. And they’re calling for an investigation into the deputies’ actions, which were recorded by body cameras and circulated on social media.

Deputies arrested 30-year-old Dakota John Hadley after responding to what they described as a domestic disturbance in the 8700 block of Southeast Monterey Avenue.

But Debi Olsen, Hadley’s aunt, said Hadley’s mother actually called police for help because he was “having a mental health episode.”…
