A Massachusetts man has his priorities in order after hitting big money on a State Lottery scratch ticket.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Manuel Gilmete of Taunton is the first $1 million prize winner in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s new “Strike It Rich” $10 instant ticket game that went on sale Tuesday, May 12.
Gilmete chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). He said he plans to do some home repairs and take care of his family with the winnings…
