RIDOH recommends closing three swimming areas due to high bacteria counts

(WJAR) — The Rhode Island Department of Health said it recommended closing swimming areas at three beaches around the state due to high bacteria counts.

The recommendation was for Easton’s Beach in Newport, Oakland Beach in Warwick, and Briar Point Beach in Coventry.
