(WPRI) — A large storm system that’s tracking through the Great Lakes region into Canada may bring some unsettled weather to New England on Thursday.
The latest forecast from the 12 News Weather Team shows a slight risk for severe weather for much of the Northeast region, with the primary threat being damaging winds.
There’s also a non-zero threat for an isolated tornado in New England. According to 12 News Meteorologist Steven Matregrano, the best chance for a tornado as of 10:30 a.m. is across upstate New York, Vermont, Northwest Massachusetts and parts of New Hampshire.
