SCITUATE, R.I. (WPRI) — A black bear was spotted investigating a couple of bird feeders in Scituate Wednesday morning.
A Scituate woman sent 12 News a video of the bear wandering into her back yard on Elmdale Road. The video shows the bear sniffing her bird feeders and taking off running after being startled by something.
In the video, the bear can be seen scooting halfway up a nearby tree and staying there for a few seconds before climbing back down and surveying its surroundings.
This is one of several black bear sightings reported within the past month, with others being spotted in West Greenwich, Central Falls and Pawtucket…
